Terrace Tigers Pee Wees’ offense rolls in victory over Derry Decatur

LEWISTOWN – Once the Tigers got the ball rolling offensively, it was tough to stop as the Terrace Tigers defeated the Decatur Cyclones to win the Peewee American Bowl by the final score of 43-7 Saturday at Mitchell Field.
Terrace scored first as Ryker Herrington hustled his way to an eight yard rushing touchdown. Quarterback Michael Williams then found wide receiver Walker Dalton to complete the two point conversation to put the Tigers up 8-0.
Then in the second quarter, the Tigers struck again with Herrington again making a run towards the end zone completing a 17 yard touchdown run. Mariano Lozano then ran into the end zone to score the extra point giving Terrace a 15-0 lead.
Herrington came back for more in the third quarter going all the way to score on a 23 yard run. But the Tigers were unable to complete the extra point attempts making it a 21-0 Terrace lead.
Later on in the third quarter, the Tigers, Jaxson Yeater scored a nine yard touchdown run before the duo of Williams and Dalton connected again with a pass to complete the two point conversation making the lead 29-0.
A couple minutes into the fourth quarter, the Tigers got on the board again as Jorge Castillo Jr busted out a 20 yard touchdown run. Aiden Yokell scored the extra point giving Terrace a 36-0 lead.
The Cyclones finally got on the board with about two minutes left in the game as Charlie Hampton went on a 10 yard touchdown run and also scored the extra point to make it a 36-7 ballgame.
Tarrence Smith then drove it home for the Tigers scoring on a massive 46 yard touchdown run. Dalton then scored the extra point to make it 43-7.
Congrats to both teams for an amazing season.
