The Lady Huskies dominate West Perry

It was an explosive output by the MIfflin County girls basketball team Tuesday as they defeated West Perry 68-26 in a non-league contest.

Marissa Gingrich led the way for the Lady Huskies as she finished with 13 points.

Brianna Bodtorf followed up with an 11-point effort while teammate Mya Aumiller rounded out the double figure scorers with 10.

Emma Weaver finished with nine.

West Perry’s Ella Goodling was the lone double digit scorer for her team with 11.

In the first, MIfflin County quickly jumped out to an 11-4 advantage.

They kept things rolling in the second outscoring their opponent 19-6, taking a 30-10 lead going into the intermission.

The scoring continue to come in droves in the third as the Lady Huskies put out 22 points while holding West Perry to 12.

MIfflin County finished how they started as they finished on a 16-5 run en route to the victory.
