Unbeaten, untied and still going strong; MCJH girls soccer continues to dominate

They keep going and going and going!

The MCJH Girls Varsity soccer team continued to go through their schedule unscathed

Thursday versus Camp Hill, the Lady Huskies picked up the 5-1 victory.

Aubrey Strohecker once again picked up a hat trick as Mifflin County made the most of its nine shot attempts.

Bailey McNitt was once again strong in goal, stopping six shots.

Mifflin County also won in corner opportunities by a 3-0 margin.

Strohecker notched her first goal just less than a minute into the game off of a pass from Sarah Henry at just under two minutes in.

Less than three minutes later, Brynn Knepp scored off of a Strohecker pass at 4:31 to go up 2-0.

Camp Hill cut the lead in half as Mariah Fleck scores at the 29:00-minute mark, 2-1.

Strohecker upped the lead back to to two goals as she picked up a pass from Knepp and sent it home, upping it to 3-1.

Henry scored the team’s fourth goal of the night as she hooked up on a pass from Ella Kammerer to tickle the twine at 39:03.

Strohecker book ended the game, scoring the last goal thanks to another pass by Knepp at 52:00.

     

In the JV Game , Mifflin County won 3-1. The Lady Huskies had seven shots and six saves thanks to the goalkeeping of Sarah Henry and Kate Bickhart.

Mifflin County tallied three corner opportunities.     

Picking up goals for the Lady Huskies were Arika Henry, Catriona Gordon and Elise Wagner.
