Wetzler adds her name to 100-hit club

100 was the magic number.

Wetzler went 2-for-4 en route to notching her 100th career hit. Wetzler also scores and collected an RBI in her team’s 7-2 victory.
Teammate Hanna Lauck also was a multiple hitter finishing with a home run and a single.
Lexi Rogers got the win once again as she was a factor in the mound, striking out 12 while walking only four. Rogers went the distance, facing 23 batters while allowing only two hits and two runs.
Offensively, the Lady Rams got singles from Kaylah Thompson and Kendra Bumgardner.
Bumgardner also took the loss as she went five innings allowing seven runs off eight hits, striking out three and walked two.
The Lady Raiders opened the scoring in the second inning, plating two.
Bellefonte went back to the scoreboard in the fourth inning when it scored four more runs to increase their lead to 6-0.
But in the bottom of the inning, the Lady Rams bounced back for two of their own.
But that would be all the runs that Rogers and her defense would allow.
Offensively, the Lady Raiders added one last run late in the game, ending it as a 7-2 ending.
