Wolves shows strong effort in Carlisle Invitational

CARLISLE – The boys and girls had an unique and strong outing at the 26th Carlisle Invite. They were met with three stream crossings throughout their 5k route. The boys kickstarted the day with a 35th-place finish int he 60+ team field. Carter Kauffman lead the way as he finished 31st. Josh Hershbine was the next to cross the line in 56th. Sam Palmer, Aidan Cross, Asa Reynolds, and Leland Calistri had season best races on the day.

The girls finished 24th overall in a strong field that featured US #16 Blacksburg and several top ten PA teams. They were lead by the strong efforts of Sera Mazza’s medal earning perfomance (26th) and Kate Youngmark (89thnd).  Myah Chappell (165th), Lindsey Carmack (179th), and Lea Fisher (197th) closed out the scoring for the Wolves.

The Wolves are in action next Saturday at the Ridgway Invitational.
