Words of wisdom from PSU players

Editor’s Note: Hometown Sports writer Dom Reed attended the recent Penn State Media Day and got a chance to ask some Nittany Lions their advice for future players.

HS: What advice would you give aspiring young football players who hope to one day reach the level of success you have achieved in your career.

Abdul Carter: Find out who cares the  most about you. Find a great group of people that cares about you and pushes you to be the best you can be.

Drew Allar: The big things I’ve  learned is don’t  go out and force things. Let the game come to you.

Theo Johnson: I saw a need in our team. That was a point where I saw I have something I can offer this team. So I can step Into that role. Its something that comes natural to me I’ve really been proud of myself for what I have done. I feel like I’ve  earned the respect of not only on offense but also the team.
