Bald Eagle Area takes care of Northern Cambria

It was a total team win for the Bald Eagle Area boys basketball team Monday evening as they defeated Northern Cambria 44-28.

Offensively, Bald Eagle was led by Tyler Serb’s 11-point night.

The Eagles got eight-point efforts from teammates Chase Thompson, Cam Watkins and Blaze Angellotti.

In the first quarter, it was all defense as the Eagles held a small 6-4 advantage.

The offense started to simmer in the second as Bald Eagle outscored Cambria 14-8.

Going into the intermission, the Eagles held onto to a 20-12 advantage.

That was all the eagles would need to go into the second half.

In the second half, the Eagles poured on the scoring posting a 24-16 half en route to the victory.
