Bald Eagle boys soccer muscle out title win in home tournament

This past weekend, the Bald Eagle boys soccer team hosted its annual season opening tournament at the Bald Eagle High School.

The Eagles’ squad muscled their way to two hard fought victories.

In Game 1, Bald Eagle Area pulled out an overtime win over St. Joseph Catholic Academy 2-1.

Both teams were tied at one then the contest went to a penalty kick shootout.

The Eagles won 3-2 in Pk’s.

In Game 2, Bellefonte outlasted Mifflinburg 1-0.

In Game 3, the Consolation  game, Mifflinburg outlasted St.Joes 1-0.

Finally, in Game 4, the Championship game had the Eagles topped rival Bellefonte 1-0 to capture the crown. 

The two were tied at the end and the Eagles won on a pk shootout 4-2.
