BEA girls remain undefeated, drops Mo Valley

They win again.

The Bald Eagle Area girls soccer team continued to roll Saturday as they picked up a 4-0 road win at Moshannon Valley.

“We started out a little flat but really bounced back in the second half. The girls were able to control the play of the game and dictate much of the game,” said Bald Eagle coach Jared Moore. “We got a ton of looks at the goal and took some good shots. The goals look good and we finished when we needed to. It was a good finish to a great first week!”

Bald Eagle outshot Mo Valley 18-3.

Moshannon Valley’s keeper had a busy day collecting 14 saves while Bald Eagle’s keeper Rachel Veneziano had three.

 Addison Proctor posted the first goal of the game off a Falen McHenry assist at 6:45.

McHenry notched the next goal thanks to a pass by Zoey McHenry at 34:44

McHenry hit an insurance goal late off of an Emily Shiels assist at 70:44.

Anna Cingle ended the scoring thanks to a Proctor pass at 70:58.

BEA Improves to3-0 overall and 2-0 Mountain League.

The Eagles are back at it Monday vs Clearfield.
