BEA girls remain undefeated; tops Bearcats

Tuesday night, the Bald Eagles girls soccer team, notched another win as they shut out Huntingdon 2-0.

The Lady Eagles outshot Huntingdon 15-7.

BEA goalie Rachel Veneziano had seven saves while

           Huntingdon’s M. Woodward had 13.

 Bald Eagle notched it’s first goal on a Falen McHenry goal and an Addison Proctor assist at 7:30.

Zoey McHenry rounded out the scoring on an unassisted goal at 39:41.

 “The girls played in great form tonight right from the opening whistle. We hit our connecting passes very well and the defense was outstanding,” said Bald Eagle coach Jared Moore. “Huntingdon is a great team with plenty of talent and the defense absorbed everything Huntingdon threw at them.”

           BEA improves to 11-0-1 overall and 8-0-1 in the Mountain League.

In JV action, Bald Eagle and Huntingdon tied at two.
