Bellefonte girls dominate Mounties

Defense took center stage Thursday as the Bellefonte girls basketball team topped Philipsburg-Osceola 57-9.

Bellefonte High Scorer on the night was Maddie Tice with 17.

And Bellefonte had Double Digit Scorer Bella Corman with 11.

P-O’ High Scorer was Camden Potter with three.

“ A great team effort. The team has put in a lot of hard work at practice and it finally paid off with a complete win,” said Bellefonte coach Marcus Toomer. “This will help propel us in a positive direction moving forward.”

Bellefonte improves to 1-5 while the Lady Mounties are 0-6.
