Husky matmen wrestle tough but falls to State-ranked Central Dauphin

The Central Dauphin Wrestlers visited Mifflin County On Thursday ranked in the top 15 in the state. Though the Rams came out with the win, the Huskies battled through out, falling just 40-20.

Starting at 132, MIfflin County’s Deakon Schaeffer topped Michael Beers 8-4.

At 138, Central Dauphin’s Josh Miller won by decision over Parker Kearns 9-3.

145-pounder Ryan  Garvick won by tech fall over Jacob Cunningham 18-2 with 3:24 left.

CD’s Bryce Buckman took the 152-pound weight class over Kyler Everly by an 8-2 decision.

Things continued to roll from the Rams at 160 when Wade McClune muscled out a 4-2 win over Anson Wagner

At 172, Trey Kibe got the Huskies back on the scoreboard with a pin fall over Ethan Pae at 0:53.

Central Dauphin bounced back to take 189. Timmy Smith pinned over Teeg Tate at 2:37.

At 215, Central’scNathaniel  Mosey won by an 8-2 decision over Jaxson Pupo (MCH) .

At heavyweight, 285-pounder Benjamin Stewart pinned Husky Aaron Henry by a Fall at 0:32.

At 106, the Rams William Flanagan won by forfeit.

113-pounder Nic Allison gave the Huskies some more to cheer about with a pin fall over Gavin  Reynolds at 2:46.

Making it 2-in-a-row, MIfflin County’s 120 pound wrestler Hunter Johnson topped Dallas Schorr via a tech fall at 16-0 3:06)

Rounding things out on the evening at 126, the Rams Matthew Repos won by tech fall over Blake Aumiller 19-2 6:00.
