Bellefonte track and field has strong showing at Mountain League championships

Tuesday, the Bellefonte track and field team traveled to compete in the Mountain League championships.

In the Girls 4×800 Relay finished in

3rd with a time of 11:25.90. The team consisted of Schomer, Rarrick, Aukerman, Elmore, Cole.

In the Boys 4×800 Relay, the team finished 2nd with a time of 8:49.37. Sette, Ebeling, Bennett, Melius, Carlini were all members of the squad.

Continuing in the Boys 110 Hurdles, Logan Naspinski finished 4th with a mark of 17.62.

Kerri Shutika finished third in the Girls 100 with a time of 13.48.

Two runner finished in the top five in the Girls 1600-meter run as 3rd place with a time of  5:51.16 went to Mia Elmore while teammate Ashleigh Aukerman was 4th with a time of 5:56.15.

In the Boys 1600, Chase Ebeling’s time of 5:01.49 which was good enough for 5th.

The Girls 4×100 Relay finished in the top spot with a 1st place time of 55.60. They were Proctor, Shutika, Goodman, Tressler and Pope.

In the Boys 300 Hurdles, Logan Naspinski finished 5th with a mark of 44.75.

The Girls 800 had a 6th place finish of 2:48.60 by Kate Rarrick.

Bellefonte runner Sara Proctor finished 6th in the Girls 200 with a time of 29.14.

In the Girls 3200-meter run, Mia Elmore placed 2nd with a mark of 12:44.04 and teammate Ashleigh Aukerman finished 3rd with a time of 13:03.85.

In the Boys 3200,  Chase Ebeling

finished 5th with a finishing time of  10:57.60.

Gabrielle Deitrich finished as a runner up in the Girls Discus with a top throw of 95’ 01”.

JD Besch finished 2nd in the Boys Discus with a throw of 121’ 04”.

In the Girls Shot, Meredith Frey finished 6th with a throw of 25’ 06”.

Boys Shot had a Red Raider finishing with a 1st place finish and a 4th place finish.

Finishing 1st was JD Besch of 47’ 02” while a 4th place finish of 38’ 04” by Lee Przybys.

The Boys Javelin saw William Brininger place 2nd with a throw of 141’ 00”.

Boys Long Jump had Landyn Miller finishing 4th with a launch of 19’ 00 “.

In the Boys Triple Jump, Landyn Miller finished 5th with a jump of 38-00.

Rounding out the Red Raiders finishers was Ryan Miller in the Boys Pole Vault where he finished

6th with a jump of 9-00.
