Braucht, Penns Valley boys top Bald Eagle

The Penns Valley Rams defeated the Bald Eagle Area boys 59-39 tonight in Boys’ Varsity Basketball action.
Zach Braucht led the way for the Rams with 29 points.
Bald Eagle was led in scoring by Alex Gavlock’s 13 points
Three of which came from beyond the arc.
Teammate Tyler Serb was next with 12 points all of which were from the 3-point land.
Just missing hitting double-digit scoring were Kahale Burns had eight points (including 2 and Cam Watkins with four.
The Rams came out and delivered offensively, posting a first quarter score of 13-2.
Braucht led the way in the period with eight.
Bald Eagle’s Blaze Angellotti had the only points for his team in the stanza.
Things continued to roll for Penns Valley as it scored 16 in the second while allowing 10 Eagles points.
The momentum continued in the second half, as the Rams outscored the Eagles the rest of the way en route the victory.
