Central Mountain girls tennis team tops Jersey Shore

The Central Mountain tennis team took control of Jersey Shore Thursday, coming out the victor of a 4-1 contest.

At one, Central Mountain’s Kati Kwiatek defeated Peyton Dincher. 6-2, 4-6 and 6-3.

Claire Long made it two in a row as she topped Celia Shemory  6-3 and 6-2.

Rounding out singles competition was the Wildcats’ Zeta Blesh topping Haley Shadle. 6-3 and 6-3.

In first doubles, Jersey Shore picked up its only win as Rahel Hartman/Breanna Porter defeated Ellie Gundy/Bree Weaver. 6-3 and 7-5.

Central Mountain rounded out the match as Teresa Temple/Ana Persun defeated Ella Gerst/Madelyn Gerst. 6-2 and 6-1.
