EJ boys take it to Meadowbrook

In Varsity action Tuesday, the East Juniata boys basketball team rebounded from a recent loss to get back in the win column defeating Meadowbrook 73-45.

High Scorers for the Tigers were Billy Dressler with 15, Tanner Barth with 14 and Xavier Clement tallied 11. 

MEadowbrook was paced by Ashton Canelo with 19 and Trace Peace with 13.

East Juniata led off the first quarter outscoring Meadowbrook 18-13.

The Tigers momentum continued into the intermission as they outscored their opponent once again, this time by a 17-11 margin to take a 37-24 advantage.

Offense took center stage in the third as it cranked out 24 points while its defense held it to just nine.

In the final quarter, the Tigers scored 14 while Meadowbrook scored only 12, giving EJ the win.

In JV action, East Juniata picked up a 41-12 victory.
