Juniata baseball improves to 2-0, tops Line Mountain

Off to a strong start.

The Juniata baseball team’s offense was sizzling Tuesday in its contest against Line Mountain.

Indians’ pitcher Carson Kepner got the win on mound as Juniata won the contest 13-1 in five innings. Kepner finished with a one-hitter on the afternoon and struck out seven.

Grant Reinhold and Brandon Snyder both finished with three hits apiece.

With those 13 runs, Juniata finished with nine hits en route to the victory.

The Indians fell behind 1-0 going into their first at bats but rallied back to plate three and never looked back back.

Juniata scored four more in the second and six in the fourth to end the game early and improve to 2-0.
