Juniata boys shut out tough Millersburg team

In a Tri-Valley League showdown, the Juniata boys battled Millersburg.

In shut out fashion, the Indians topped Millersburg 4-0.

“The most impressive part of this evening’s game was our team’s focus and ability to put the team first. Jelvin Cardenas had a special evening with two very impressive assists and a goal,” said Juniata coach Jared Byler said.

In the first half First

Juniata’s Kadyn Kuhn scored strong at the 20:11  mark as he was  assisted by Jelvin Cardenas.

At 17:00 , Bryce Rush scores on a pass by Cardenas.

Cardenas scored a goal of his own at 3:41, after catching a pass from Dawson Harper.

In the Second Half,

Juniata scores its last goal as Andrew Elder off an assist by Brant Walters scored at 1:09.

Juniata led in shots on goal by a 12-9 margin.

Juniata led in saves by a 12-7.
