Lady Huskies fall in road trip to Cedar Cliff

The Mifflin County girls basketball team started out strong, taking the lead after at halftime.

However, Cedar Cliff heated up in the second half to outlast the Lady Huskies, 39-31.

Offensively, MIfflin County was led by Marissa Gingrich who tallied 14 points on the evening.

Teammate Brianna Bodtorf followed up with a 12-point effort.

Cedar Cliff were led Taylor Ferraro and Natalie Uibel who had an 11-point and 10-point effort, respectively.

Bodtorf paced the way with six in the first as the Lady Huskies outscored Cedar Cliff 9-6.

In the second quarter, MIfflin County and its opponent both scored 11.

Going into the intermission, MIfflin County led 20-17.

But Cedar Cliff was able to finish the contest outscoring MIfflin County 22-12 for the victory.
