Lady Huskies outhits Williamsport But falls in contest

Olivia Ahern led the Mifflin County offensive charge Monday in its game against Williamsport.

The Lady Huskies outhit the Millionaires 10-9 and Ahern went 2-for-3 as did teammate Madison Ream. Ahern sent a homer over the fence for Mifflin County.

However, Williamsport came out on top in the end, winning 8-2.

After going scoreless in the first 3 1/2 innings, Williamsport drew first blood as it picked up five runs in the inning.

Mifflin County battled back with one in the top of fifth and one in the sixth while the Lady Millionaires scored three in the sixth en route to the 8-2 victory.

Jade Morningstar took the loss.
