Lady Indians lose heartbreaker in seventh inning loss to Midd-West

The Juniata softball team lost a heartbreaker Monday after taking Midd-West into the seventh tied at seven.
Two scores by the Mustangs in the final stanza spoiled the strong effort by the Lady Indians, falling 9-7.
On a positive note, Juniata was led offensively by Lexi Frontz, Presley Goodwin, and Mackenzie Lyter each had multiple hits for Juniata, as every batter in the line-up reached base safely, tallying 13 total hits.
Juniata now falls to 2-7 while Midd-West improves to 3-5.
Next Game for Juniata is an April 28th game against Line Mountain.
