“Great performances all around tonight,” said Bellefonte coach Seth Miller. “Some quick shoutouts on school and class record performances.”

Althea Helms broke what is one of two of the oldest school records set by Roberta Brown in 1979.  Althea jumped 36′ 2 1/2″ in Triple Jump.  The old record was 35′ 11″.

Additionally, Kaven Smith-Kirk breaks the freshman school record in High Jump.  He jumped 6′ 0″.  The previous freshman record was 5′ 9″ set by Brad Kustaborder in 1992.  Kaven’s jump places him as #5 in school history.

“Lots of other great performances, many of which we will go over in practice tomorrow,” said Miller. “Let’s keep focused on the task at hand and keep working hard!

What a fun evening! “
