MC junior high girls impressive against West Perry

The Mifflin County Junior High girls Soccer team opened its season with a tough game against West Perry.
In the varsity game, Mifflin County defeated their opponent 3-1.
The Huskies had 10 shots in the contest while goalie Bailey McNitt was stingy in the goal snagging 10 saves.
-Sarah Henry got the scoring started for Mifflin County picking up an unassisted goal.
To add some more drama to the game, Aubrey Strohecker went one-on-one with the West Perry goalie and soared it home to complete the Penalty Kick.
Strohecker rounded out the team scoring with a goal off an assist by Kylee Cubbison.
In the JV contest, West Perry had the better game defeating Mifflin County 3-0.
Mifflin County got one shot in the game while Maddie Finkenbiner and Sadie Fike combined for seven saves in the game.
