MC Junior High volleyball battled Cumberland Valley

In many of their first volleyball games ever, the Mifflin County Junior High Volleyball Teams fell to a tough Cumberland Valley squad.

The JV team was led by Jayda Thomas with 5 aces, Abi Riden with 3 kills and 1 ace, Ashland Mazur with 2 kills, and Emma Hartzler with three assists and a kill.

JV Score: Loss 0-2 (23-25, 13-25)

The Varsity team was led by Kate Hartzler (2 kills, 2 aces, 4 digs), Leah Hartzler (2 kills, 1 block, and 4 aces), and Rylie Kahley (4 digs and 1 ace).

Varsity Score: Loss 0-2 (20-25, 24-26)
