Middle Road Speedway Prepares For Busy Labor Day Weekend

Lewistown, (PA) – All is set for Middle Road Speedway’s version of the Labor Day Classic. Two Days of hard-charging lawn tractor and Go-Kart racing await area fans along with live music. The action begins Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m. Gates open at 1.

What can fans expect to see? The area’s finest lawn tractor and go-kart racers competing in heat races and features.

Great food will be available including a BBQ chicken meal and selections from Cora’s Creek Side Tavern in Burnham, and Huffy’s Pizza. Proceeds from the BBQ to benefit a local resident battling cancer.

Action on Sunday includes Chris Woodward and Shindiggin taking the stage following the races.

Adult general admission is $ 5, on Saturday and $ 10, on Sunday. Kids under 12 are admitted free on both days.

Those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

Middle Road Speedway is located on Middle Road at the entrance to the Mifflin County Industrial Park west of Lewistown. Turn right onto Middle Road and proceed west approximately one-fourth mile. The speedway is located to the left.
