MIfflin County golf team ends season

The District 6 AAA sectional tournament held today at Sinking valley country club in Altoona. Owen Wise finished in a tie for 4th place, with a 79, which is good enough to allow him to advance to the District 6 AAA tournament next Tuesday 9/29 at Scotch Valley Country Club in Hollidaysburg.

Other members from the MC golf team participating today in sectionals were Owen Mock, 93, Alex Kline 96, Tanner Ferguson 98, Blake Stringfellow 100, Cole Chilson 105, Bradyn Eversole 112, and Brody Schnell 113

MC team total on the day was 366, which was not good enough to advance as a team. The team portion of the season has now ended. Owen wise will represent MC in Districts on the boys side, and Reagan Shafranich will represent MC in Districts on the girls side.

MC ends the season at 11-26 overall.
