State College Lacrosse tops Danville

On Saturday, the State College Girls Lacrosse team defeated Danville 15-6.

Lizzie Paterno led the way once again with a three goal, four assist and four draw controls effort.

Leah Moyer was also tough for the Little Lions as she posted four goals, two assists and two draw controls.

Ariana Angus had three goals while teammate Sydney O’Donnell finished with two.

Rounding out the goal scorers for State were Anna Collins, Kaylee Schaefer-Hood and Phoebe Herlocher with one each.

Clarre Porter had four ground balls and keeper Grace Jones had seven clutch saves for her team.

Danville was led by Jera Strony who had three goals and Gianna Feldman finished with two goals and an assist.

With the win, State College improves to 6-1 on the year.
