Two for two, Bald Eagle wrestler notch nail biting 36-30 win over Clearfield

Two for two.

One day after topping Tyrone at home, the Bald Eagle wrestling team welcomed Clearfield to their gym.

It would be a battle but in the end, the Eagles outlasted Clearfield 36-30.

Picking up wins for Bald Eagle were

a list of familiar names.

At 106, Lucas Fye led things off with a pin of Evan Davis at 3:45.

Next up at 113, Coen Bainey picked up an easy win by forfeit.

Hunter Gardner followed with a forfeit of his own at 120.

100-plus winner at 126, Cooper Gilham pinned Nolan Barr at 2:33.

At 138: Mason Reese outlasted Justin Hand, picking up a major 10-2 decision.

145-pounder Jeffre Pifer blanked Will Domico, also by a major decision 8-0.

Rounding out the winners for Bald Eagle was 172-pounder Noah Foltz with a win over Carter Chamberlain.
