Wise leads MC golfers at Mid-Penn Championships

Mifflin County golf competed today in the Boys Mid Penn Championships at Royal Manchester Golf Links in Mt. Wolf PA. This tournament is for the top 90 players in the entire mid penn, and if a team qualifies at least 4 players indivicually, then they can compete for the team championship as well. The course was an extremely difficult course, and the wind made playing the course even more difficult. Mifflin County finished the day in 7th place overall, but the highest ranked team from the Keystone Division. Individually, MC was lead on the day by Owen Wise who shot 82, which was good for 15th place overall. Bradyn Eversole shot 86, which was good for 20th place overall. Others competing for MC on the day were Blake Stringfellow with a 94, Tanner Ferguson with a 101, Alex Kline with a 105, Brody Schnell with a 106, and Bryson Bubb with a 107. This was the final match on the season for Mifflin County, which ended the season with a 41-5 overall record. Reagan Shafranich will be competing in the girls District 6 Championships on Thursday at Windber Country Club.
