Ahern, Fitzgerald Homer In come from behind victory over Red Land

They have a flare for the dramatic.

Finding themselves trailing 2-1 in the sixth, Mifflin County’s Olivia Ahern once again came through in the clutch plastering a 2-run home run.

Chloe Fitzgerald put the Lady Huskies on top for good, winning it at 5-4.

The home run by Fitzgerald tonight in the top half of the 7th inning was a pinch hit off the bench- first pitch over the center field fence which proved to be the game winner.

Picking up the victory on the night was Morgan Watson. She went the distance allowing four runs on nine hits.

Taking the loss for Red Land was Tabatha Moyer.

The Mifflin County offense was led by Ahern who went 3-for-4 with a 2-run homer. Others finishing with multiple hits were Maddie Myers and Alyssa Souders.
