All they do is win! BEA girls soccer strikes again tops Mo Valley

They keep going and going and going!

In a Saturday morning match up, the Bald Eagle Girls soccer team took on Moshannon Valley.

The goals keep mounting for the Lady Eagles as they posted a 7-1 victory.

Offensively, Bald Eagle dominated the offensive end posting 19 shots on goal while its defense limited Mo Valley to only five.

 “I thought we came out with intensity today and did really well on our set pieces. Zoey scored on a really well struck free kick and Addie score a nice goal off of a corner by Emily,” said Bald Eagle coach Jared Moore. “Rachel saved a great penalty kick in the second half as well. Our offense was really clicking and our defense was solid as well, making several key stops late in the game. Just a great team effort by the girls today.”

Keeper Saves had the Eagles’ goalkeeper Rachel Veneziano tally four.

 Addison Proctor led Bald Eagle Area with a goal off a Falen McHenry pass  at 3:18.

Proctor picked up goal number two this time off an Emily Shiels assist at 30:38,

Then Grace Wagner found the back of the net at 34:18.

Zoey McHenry followed with an unassisted goal at 43:20.

Falen McHenry got her name into the scorers column thanks to an assist by Wagner at 52:44, Zoey McHenry had her second on yet another unassisted goal at 57:45, Mara Hockenberry off a Maura Cingle pass, put the game on ice at 66:28.

      BEA sports a 6-0 record overall, and 4-0 notch in the Mountain League.
