Bald Eagle Area rolls over Huntingdon

Camron Watkins drove in four runs on two hits to lead Bald Eagle Area Varsity Eagles past Huntingdon 10-1 on Wednesday. Watkins doubled in the fifth inning, scoring two runs, and singled in the sixth inning, scoring two.

Bald Eagle Area Varsity Eagles opened the scoring in the second after Kahale Burns hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

Bald Eagle Area Varsity Eagles added one run in the third after Brayden Dubbs singled.

Bald Eagle Area Varsity Eagles collected 14 hits in the game. Burns, Dubbs, Carson Nagle, Kaden Burns, Gavin Burns, and Watkins each collected two hits for Bald Eagle Area Varsity Eagles. Burns and Burns each stole multiple bases for Bald Eagle Area Varsity Eagles. Bald Eagle Area Varsity Eagles ran wild on the base paths, piling up six stolen bases for the game.

Number eight hitter, Miller, showed the depth of Huntingdon’s lineup, by leading them with two hits in two at bats. Ashton Steele went 1-for-3 at the plate as the cleanup hitter led the team with one run batted in.

Next up for Bald Eagle Area Varsity Eagles is a game against DuBois on Monday.
