Bald Eagle rolls over Central in Volleyball action
In late action Thursday, the Bald Eagle girls volleyball team defeated Central 25-7, 25-8 and 25-13.
“It was a good opportunity for a lot of kids to get some varsity time,” said Eagles coach Lawrence Campbell. “It was a good tune up for the Bulldog invitational this weekend.”
In the Invitational this weekend, the pool includes Liberty and Hempfield, Quad-A teams that are ranked 6th and 7th in the state and Pope John Paul II, the 7th ranked team in the state in AAA. They also have Pennsbury, a Quad-A from District 1.
