“Playing Bellefonte is always a tough game and we had to be ready right from the start.  The girls did a great to come out strong and we created several early chances and capitalized on them,” said Penns Valley coach Andrew Beverly. “The trio of Hannah Denger, Hannah Montminy, and Katie Martell linked up well and set up four first half goals.  We gave them some things to be on the look out for and all three put it to great use to lead us.  And we are starting to get stronger and more organized defensively.  Led today by performances from Katie Romig, Elli Stamm, and Leah Beben, we were able to contain a strong offense led by one of the best players in the area, Mallorie Smith.  This was a great team performance for us and a great response after a disappointing loss on Tuesday”

Penns Valley’s record is now 1-2 and our next game is on 9/9at Tyrone.
