Down five, East Juniata baseball rallies back for win

The East Juniata baseball team picked up a 7-5 home victory Monday afternoon at the East Juniata High School baseball field.

After giving up five runs in the top of the first, the Tigers battled back after that as they held the Buffaloes scoreless the rest of the way en route to the hard fought victory.

Leading the way on the afternoon for EJ were Nathaniel Losch, Logan Wagner and Cy Fronk who all had two hits each.

Wagner played three RBIs on the night, Losch had two and Fronk had one. Wagner also hit a home run to lead his team to the come from behind victory.

 East Juniata broke onto the board In the fourth where it plated a run in the inning.

The Tigers upped the antie in the fifth, plating four and tying the game.

While sizzling at the plate, East Juniata put the game on ice with two in the sixth.

It held the Buffaloes scoreless again in the seventh en route to the victory.
