East Juniata boys dominate Susquenita

 

Rolling right along.

The East Juniata boys basketball team dominated play Monday as they dominated with a 60-25 win over Susquenita.

EJ were led by leading scorers Xavier Clement with 18 and Evan Reichenbach with 13. 

Susquenita was led by Wilson with 12.

After opening with a 20-8 first quarter, the Tigers never had to look back.

Leading the way in the first was Clement with nine, outscoring the entire Susquenita team by himself.

Things continued to roll for the Tigers as despite being outscored 12-10, they took a 30-20 advantage going into the intermission.

Coming out of the intermission, Juniata’s defense held Susquenita to a big goose egg while its offense rolled to a 17-0 blanking of their opponent.

Going into the final stanza, EJ led 47-20.

East Juniata he’s no trouble finish out the win, finishing with a 13-5 roll en route to the victory.

In the JV contest, the Indians also came out victorious 37-24.

Leading scorer for EJ was Gannon Ryan with 23.
