East Juniata girls dominate Upper Dauphin

The East Juniata girls used a total team effort Tuesday to take home a 53-29 victory over Upper Dauphin.

Leading the way offensively for the Tigers were Leah Sankey and Alyssa Robinson’s 10-point efforts.

Teammate Clayre Guyer finished with a 9-point effort, just missing double-figures.

In the first period, the Lady Tigers defense allowed just two points in the period while the offense created seven points in the quarter.

EJs offense started to heat up in the second while still keeping the Upper Dauphin scorers at bay, finishing with a 16-5 effort.

At the intermission, the Lady Tigers took a commanding 23-7 lead into the third.

In the third, the Tigers offense continued to shine as it posted 19 points while holding Upper Dauphin to 11.

East Juniata was able to hold to the victory.
