East Juniata Girls scoring machine continues to roll; posts 12 over Millersburg

Another night and another explosive scoring exhibition by the East Juniata Girls soccer team. Monday, the took on Tri-Valley League foe Millersburg.

East Juniata would toss a shut out defensively while its offense went on for the 12-0 victory.

Leah Sankey ended the night for the Tigers with a hat trick-plus one with a four-goal night.

Teammates Amara Brubaker, Thea Neimond and Kierstyn Fogle all added two apiece.

EJ Girls got the game started on a Sankey goal assisted by Cypress Feltman at 5:09.

Brubaker scored five minutes later as she was assisted by Neimond at 10:15.

Clarye Guyer kept the scoring machine revved up with an unassisted goal at 17:42

Sankey was a scoring machine as she posted the next three goals for East Juniata with unassisted goals at 27:00, 31:53 and 36:18.

Fogle hit her first as she was assisted by Sankey at 42:30.

“The Girls played well, always looking to improve but great attitudes tonight,” said Tigers coach Valeria Dressler.

Brubaker notched goal number two on the night when she was assisted by Neimond at 46:00.

Neimond scores on consecutive unassisted goals, one at 51:00 and the other at 55:05

Marissa Coudriet hit goal number 11 when she was assisted by Fogle at 64:00.

Fogle rounded out the scoring with an unassisted goal at 65:00.

Shots on goal East Juniata dominated 22-1.

They also led in corner kicks 10-0.

The Tigers goalie Brianna Henry has one save.

East Juniata’s overall record is 9-0-0 while its TVL record is 5-0.

 Next game for the Lady Tigers is Wednesday September 25, 2019at Susquenita.
