Fogle, Sankey shine in 11-1 Mountain League victory

The East Juniata girls soccer team had its offense cruising along Monday, defeating Halifax 11-1.
Kierstyn Fogle continue to light things up, posting four more goals while teammate Leah Sankey was busy scoring a game -high five goals.
Rounding out the scorers for the Tigers were Amara Brubaker and Brianna Henry to pick up the win.
Fogle posted an unassisted goal at 4:07 to get the scoring started.
Just over five minutes later Sankey scored her first goal on an unassisted shot at 9:37.
Sankey got the call at 16:25 as she was assisted by Fogle and sent it home.
Fogle scores again on another unassisted goal at 23:45.
Brubaker with an assist by Marin Varner gave her team its fifth goal at 32:03.
Sankey posted goal number six as she was assisted by Fogle once again, this time it was 42:07.
Sankey continued her hot streak, posting another unassisted goal, this time it was at 55:07.
Fogle scores the next two goals, both were unassisted, one at 57:30 and the other at 64:20.
10) Brianna Henry got her name on the scorebook with an assist by Sankey at 77:06.
Sankey rounded out the scoring on an unassisted blast at 78:07.
East Juniata dominated in shots on goal with 22 while Halifax managed just three.
The Lady Tigers got two saves from its goalie.
Overall record the Tiger improved to 6-1 overall and A TVL record of 6-0.
