Gaisior sizzles in no-hit win versus Muncy

Setting the bar.

All season long Juniata pitcher Liz Gaisior has been striking out opponents at a blistering pace.

En route to a 15-strike out performance, Gaisior came out of the contest with a no-hitter.

Wednesday, the Indians posted all their runs in the first inning while Muncy came up with three late in the seventh.

Gaisior also went 2-for-2 from the plate with a double and two walks. Cheyenne Kirk, Olivia Laub, Presley Goodwin, Shalelyn Armstrong, and Lexie Berry each added hits for Juniata.

Juniata is now 5-11 while Muncy fell to 11-4.

Next for the Indians is a Thursday meeting against East Juniata.
