JMS girls top Grace Prep

 

Over the weekend, the Juniata Mennonite girls’ soccer team shut out Grace Prep 5-0.

In the first half, at the 15th minute mark, Juniata Mennonite’s Anna Taylor scored on an unassisted goal that struck high and beyond the reach of the keeper. 

On the 23rd minute Juniata Mennonite’s Anna Taylor, unassisted, roped a corner kick that curled in. 

At the 29th minute Juniata Mennonite’s Taylor scored once again on an unassisted goal. 

In the 2nd Half, Juniata Mennonite’s Maribeth Arnold picked up an unassisted goal. 

Juniata Mennonite’s  Arnold smacked a second goal as the assist not captured as she finished on a cross.

Juniata Mennonite led in shots on goal by a 17-3 advantage. 

Juniata Mennonite led in Corner Kicks by a 10-0 margin. 

Grace Prep’s Makayla Ley tallied 12 saves while Juniata Mennonite had three.
