Juniata blanks Huntingdon in weekend action

Quite a weekend win!

The Juniata boys soccer team battled against a very successful Huntingdon team.

In the end, the Bearcats fell short, losing to Juniata 2-0.

The Indians would find the net two times in the first.

At 31:34 Bryce Rush scored of an assist by Will Saner.

Rounding things out at15:34 when Saner found the back of the goal on an assist by Dawson Harper

“This was a very exciting game of a potential PIAA District 6 AA opponent we could see. Job well done by the entire from beginning to end,” said Juniata coach Jared Byler.  I am certain that if we see this same team in the playoffs, it will be a lot different and tougher of a game for our boys.”

On shots bon goal, Juniata led by an 11-1. They also held the advantage in corner kicks with an 8-3 edge.
