Juniata’s Stroup and East Juniata’s Strawser Compete at the Penn State Kevin Dare Indoor Track and Field Invitational on Saturday, January 8, 2022

Juniata freshman Wyatt Stroup competed in the boys mile running a time of 5:15.52. He finished 43rd out of 54 in the event. East Juniata Junior Logan Strawser competed in the 3K running a time of 9:19.54. He finished 9th out of 43 in the event.

Juniata/East Juniata distance coach Jeff Miller said “Wyatt went down in the first lap of the mile, but got right back up and didn’t panic moving up in the pack like a veteran runner. This was only his second indoor track race of his life.” “Logan ran well, but was feeling a little off on the day. You have days like that. All you can do is brush them off and continue working hard. These days make the great days all that much better.”
