Lady Huskies held at bay by Harrisburg

The Mifflin County girls basketball team traveled to Harrisburg Monday and gave the Cougars all they could handle before falling, 53-44.

Leading the charge for Mifflin County on the evening was Hannah Aumiller who posted a 15-point effort.

Her teammates, Brianna Bodtorf and Fern Selfies finishes with 12 an 10 point night, respectively.

Harrisburg was led by Alayah Cowen with 17.

Mifflin County was outscored 12-9 and 13-9 in the first half as the Cougars took a 25-18 advantage into the intermission.

Aumiller had six points in the first half to pace the Lady Huskies. 

In the second half, Harrisburg managed to just score enough to keep Mifflin County at bay, outscoring MC 28-26.

Mifflin County’s offense was led by Bodtorf with six and Aumiller with five.
