Lady Indians fall late to Greenwood

Greenwood’s Kenedy Stroup was the driving force behind the Wildcats Monday in their game against TVL rival Juniata.

In the end, Juniata fell in a 51-39 contest.

The Wildcats Alli Walton finished with a 13-point effort while teammate Alli Crockett chipped in 10.

Juniata got a 13-point effort from Chloe Zendt. Rowe Shepps was next in the scoring column with seven.

It was a stalemate in the opening period as both teams scored six.

Things were almost as close in the second but Greenwood tallied one more point, going into the half taking an 18-17 advantage into the half.

Kenedy and Greenwood heated up in the second half as they outscored the Lady Indians 33-22 en route to the victory.
