Lewistown bats are too much for Strodes Mills

Lewistown met up with Strodes Mills Monday night in a high scoring affair.

But in the end, Lewistown outgunned the Strodes Mills team 14-8 in Babe Ruth action.

Ryan Hine led Lewistown in the hit department, finishing with three.

Trevor Miles and Jeremiah Partchey both followed with two each.

Hume also finished with a 4-RBI effort.

Deakon Schaeffer also had an RBI in the win.

Strodes Mills Chris Moon finished with two RBIs.

On the mound, Evan Strohecker tallied five strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings while teammate Dupree Reed struck out three in three innings.

Lewistown’s Dougy Weaver finished with three strikeouts as well.
