MC girls lose nail biter to CD East

It was a nail biter Saturday when CD East topped a very young and talented Mifflin County team 2-1.

The Huskies struck first in the game on a Lily Yoder unassisted goal at 24:05.

But CDEast’s Nancy Le tied it at the 33:15 posting a unassisted goal.

Le hit the final goal of the game late at 56:11 en route to the East victory.

The Lady Huskies led in shots on goal 17-16.

The two teams tied in corner attempts at four each.

MC goalie Bailey McNitt saved 14 while CD East had 16.

MC is now 1-4-1 in the Mid-Penn and 4-6-1 overall.

Mifflin County’s  next game is home on  10/1  vs Palmyra.

In the JV game, Mifflin County shut out CD East 3-0.
