MC softball falls to talented CV team, 17-3

Things didn’t go quite the way the Mifflin County softball team would have liked Tuesday as they fell to a very talented Cumberland Valley team 17-3 in Mid-Penn action.
Despite the loss, Dakota Hershberger led the Huskies offense, finishing with two hits in a losing effort. She also finished with 2RBI and a run scored.
Cumberland Valley scored six runs in the first two innings to gain momentum.
The continued to have it all together at the plate adding three in the fourth, one in the fifth and seven to end the scoring for CV.
Mifflin County went down battling as they scored a run in their last at bats but it wasn’t enough as Cumberland Valley went on to the 17-3 victory.
