Mifflin County girls takedown Carlisle

LEWISTOWN – Back on track.

The Mifflin County girls got back to their winning ways as they exploded for 55 points while holding Carlisle to just 27.

Mifflin County’s defense did not allow a double-digit scorer on the night.

Offensively, Mifflin County got its spark from the shooting of Molly Wagoner with 18.

Teammate Brianna Bodtorf finished with 17.

Rounding out the double digit scorers was Fern Selfies with 10 points.

In the first period, the Lady Huskies led 13-7. 

Mifflin County outscored Carlisle once again in the second period after a close 12-8 quarter.

At the half, Mifflin County led 25-15. 

The Huskies got even hotter in the second half.

Mifflin County’s defense led the way holding Carlisle to two points while its offense gave them 14, putting them in the drivers seat, leading 39-17.

In the final stanza, Mifflin County continued its domination outscoring  the visitors 16-10 en route to the 55-27 victory.
