Second meeting between Mifflin County and State College meet again

Two for two.
In a rare home-in-home match up, the Mifflin County baseball team brought out the brooms as they defeated State College twice in as many days, this time the Huskies won 7-4.
Picking up the win for Mifflin County was Drew Westover while Joe Nastasi took the loss.
With the win, the Huskies improved to an 4-5 overall record and 4-3 record in the always tough Mid-Penn League.
Offensively, Mifflin County pounded out eight hits in the contest.
Isaac Matthews led the way offensively going 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI.
Max Oburn reaches base twice and scored twice including a double. Noah Wright finished with a hit and two RBIs rounding out the top offensive performers.
Mifflin County exploded early on, plating six runs in the first two innings and was able to hold on after a late run by the Little Lions.
State College doubled their hitting output from yesterday, posting six today.
David Shoemaker led the State College offense, finishing the team’s only multi-hitter going 2-for-3 with an RBI.
After cutting into the lead late in the game, State College was not able to overcome the late relieving duties of MC’s Tristin Lockett who came in a preserved the victory.
